Two A/C issues

2008 awd 3.4L

1. The fan speed fluctuates at random times. Usually on the medium to medium high speed setting. Need a new switch?

2. A/C gets warm if I accelerate fairly hard. It sometimes does it on normal driving.The Freon was low when I bought it, added some. I noticed the compressor cycles allot when idling.
It's ice cold when it's working though.

For the fan I would first check if the charging system is working correctly. A voltage fluctuation can cause the fan speed to change.
Did you recheck if you lost refrigerant?

I'll check the charging, but I've been driving it for a month now and doesn't seem to have one.

I checked the refrigerant and doesn't appear to have gone down any since adding some. But during the check the ac motor cycled several times and pressure would drop and then build back up over the motor turned back on.

you are using a set of high low pressure gauges on the AC system?

It was a single gauge on the high pressure side.

is this part of a recharging kit and you are sure it was high side not low side?

It was a bottle/gauge from parts store. I'll take picture when i get home.

the bottle gauge attaches to the low side.
when you are charging the system are you raising the engine rpm above idle?
