Hey guys, I found a used 1.8L in Oregon for my wife's '86 Sunbird. It has 104K and 185 compression. Is it worth $300 plus the drive from Monroe, WA to Hillsboro, OR?

Looks like a good clean run operation from looking at their website. Plus you get a 90 day warranty. You have to remember it rains alot in Oregon and the cylinders could be rusted if not prepped with oil. Id ask how long its been sitting dormant.
I bought a used trans ( car-part ) for the Sunbird in AZ before I moved here in PR. It was dropped in a yard in Phoenix for me to save me a trip all the way to Tucson from upper NW AZ. I asked alot of questions before I bought it since it had to travel 3000 miles on a container here. I didnt get to install it for 6 months after it got here and the warranty had long been over . I did a search online about the business and found zero complaints. When I got it it was clean, had plastic plugs in all the holes, and overall looked like a 88K mile trans as described. Happy to say it was perfect and is still working great a year plus later other than a slight dripping axle seal that I will replace soon.
Research the business before you buy....... To me its a good deal ,about $600 here for all motors with no warranty at 90% of the yards.
