Car: 1968 Pontiac Lemans / 350 / 5.7L / 2 Barrel Rochester Carb.
See attached pic.
What is this called?
I have three vacuum hoses coming out of this.
1. One goes to the Carburetor.
2. One goes to the Air filter housing.
3. The other one I found just laying on top of the transmission. I have to think this needs to be connected somewhere. Any ideas?

Thanks . . . JIMB

check for transmission vacuum modulator, may be on passenger side, short piece of hose than a metal pipe and then another hose connecting to a vacuum source on the engine. Your best bet is to get the Factory Service Manual from a source such as www.amesperf.com

Yep. That was the answer . . transmission vacuum line. Thanks!!!!!
