Has anyone had the problem where the vent door seems to be stuck between 2 setting, say like bi-level and vent, so you really don't get much air flow on either.

What's the fix? Thought I read a tsb about it?

Thanks

Tim

I have this same problem. I opened the glove-box, pulled out the AC filters and was able to stick my hand up there and discover the door itself was broken. Now I am trying to figure out how to get to the door and replace it. The broken door is too big to fit out the filter door opening, I couldn't get the new one in place that way anyway. I sat upside down under the dash for 3 hours trying to get to it.

SO! If anyone has a diagram of how to get to that vent door and where all the screws are and how to pull it out without setting off the air bag... Im all ears...

I've had a problem with mine not much air blowing out the vents for some time and the DW commented on it this weekend (95f) so I went searching like you ,under the dash and found that both hvac motors and linkage were working properly. For anyone who is troubleshooting this the blend motors are on each side of the center console ,very easy to see and also to reach up and manually check, 1 on each side .Then I decided to look in the glove box filter to see what I could find and wow did I find the problem,it was the filters they must of been never changed , after a few minutes of blowing and vacuming them out the problem was fixed. I am going to to get a large filter and cut it down to fit into the opening (to cheap to buy the proper replacements)Will report back with my findings.
