at interstate speeds my grand am starts to vibrate really bad. it comes and goes but quite quickly. its starts right around 70mph and increases the faster i go. the steering wheel shakes really bad when its at the peak so it has to be the front. i just replaced all struts and shocks not to long ago but the problem existed before that. i havent noticed any strange tire wear, but i havent looked to terribly close at them recently

would it possibly be an unbalanced tire or the wheel bearing?

start with having the wheels balanced

Check your cv's by putting the car in reverse and backing in a tight circle. If you hear a clicking sound they might need attention. Another thing to check would be tire cupping. A slight misalignment can cause the tires to wear unevenly. They can look perfectly normal on the outside and be shot on the inside. Run your hand around the edges of the tread inside and out and feel for uneveness. I had an impala that you could feel waves in the tread.

im going to balance the wheels tomorrow and see if it still exists

It's very common to throw a weight off a rim, hopefully it's that simple. You'll find out when you have them re-balanced. Hope that works for you!
