Trying to figure out my VIN digit by digit.
I KNOW THERE ARE PLENTY OF WEBSITES TO TRANSLATE IT.
But I want to do it by digit.
Digits 4-8...I can't quite get...the rest I have.
Some of them may be:
Safety Restraints
Body Style
Engine Type
etc.
I realize that I have a quirk for numbers. Will probably memorize it over time.
I've already memorized my Credit Card number, exp date, and CCV.
My wife just calls me a weirdo...some of you may also. That's OK.

4 and 5, SL=Vibe, SM=Vibe AWD, SN=GT
6 body style, 6 = 4-door hatchback/liftback
7 Restraint Codes: 2 = Manual belts w/driver & passenger front air bags; 4 = Manual belts w/driver & passenger front & side air bags; 6 = Active (manual) belts w/drivers and passenger inflatable restraints (front and side) automatic occupant sensor (passenger)
8 is the Engine type: 8 = 1ZZ engine; L = 2ZZ GT engine

This is what I came up with (image). I am pretty sure on 1-3 and 9-17. Through research...the middle is iffy.

not sure what image you are trying to post, instructions are under FAQ. What are you 4th through 8th characters?
