I want to buy a new G8 GT with panther black metallic paint. I will need to finance this vehicle for 72 months most likely since I only want to put down $2,500 or $3,000. I know that the economy is hurting right now. I also saw a website that most 2008 GM cars have a 0% financing offer through October 31st but I am unable to find this online. I am willing to buy either the 2008 G8 GT or the 2009 G8 GT.

I get invoice pricing through a special discount through where I work. To give you example pricing of what I was offered over the weekend:
I looked at a 2009 G8 GT with a premium package. It had a sticker price of 32,700. The invoice pricing made it 31,500. They told me they could sell me the car for 2,500 down and 589/month for 72 months. This comes out to 2,500 down and then an additional $42,000. The best I could talk them down to was $3,000 down and then 529/month for 72 months. This comes out to $3,000 down and then an additional $38,000. However, I think I should be able to do better.

Please let me know how I could get a real good financing deal or get the base price down a bit especially considering how bad the economy is doing and how GM is in dire straits right now. Again, I want a black G8 GT that's either a 2008 or a 2009.

Thanks in advance!!! :)
