The kid came in all in a tizzy, the car was just crawling home and the heated seats would not turn of . I put the OBD reader on and there were 8 fault codes and the cel and traction control lites were on. It has been raining raining raining and very humid.I cleared the codes and did a test drive, 2 blocks and it was wacky again. The next day I got contact cleaner and cleaned all the plugs on the bcm and the tcm, I was going to take a test drive but it was pouring and the fumes from the contact cleaner were to strong . I waited an hour and the rain was more intense, everything worked fine.
Because there were so many problems it was obviously electronic problem. One thing if you get this shift down to L2 and as you speed up go to L4 then you can shift to D. You can get moving again just shift manually, my kid is shift less and just pushed the gas pedal and screamed. Cleaning the contacts and plugs only takes a 1/2 hour , so try that before you call a toe truck .
