Hey all,
New to the forum. Just picked up a 2007 Torrent. Car seems like it's in great shape for being in Canada all it's life. One thing I noticed is that the rear passenger seats, the carpet is soaked. Seems like it's just water. Headliner is dry, so I don't THINK it's sunroof related, seats are all dry, and the front floor is dry also.
Any thoughts or common issues with these things for water leaks? I'm going to get out there today and try to soak most of it up and dry it out.

Use a water hose to find the source but cleaning out the sunroof drain would be a good place to start

Thank you! I blew out the drains for the sunroof, sounded free flowing but who knows.
Are the sunroofs on these supposed to sit lower at the back then the roof line when closed?

I just had a foot a water in the trunk and water in the back seat. When you open the hatchback, on top of each side there are wire connections for the rear lights held in with a grommet and some sort of black sealant. On the passenger side the sealant that holds the grommet gave away so the grommet popped out therefore exposing the large hole. With the grommet out the rain was draining directly into that hole flooding my trunk and the back set. Water normally would channel past it and out the bottom of the hatchback door.

I had put some plumbers putty in since that is all I had and it did not hold well so still got some water. I am going to get a better sealer. It is tough spot since every time you open the hatchback it puts pressure on the grommet.
