I didn't get a around to checkin the TPS or EGR, at one point I thought it was the oil pump bc when I would finally get it to run it was shaking everywhere and the oil light was on the whole time it would stay running. It struggles to start also, I replaced the oil pump and the engine makes the same noises just a lil quieter than before. Could it possibly be a timing chain? I'm ouit of ideas, I was thinking about putting a new ignition module in, I checked with a voltmeter the coil packs and. They ohmed out good. So I'm out of ideas and need my car back so bad
No I haven't. I put a new oil pump in because I check in where the valves are and it was so dry and when I got the motor to run it would shake violently. So I replaced the oil pump and that still didn't solve the problem. So now I'm at the ignition side of things and trying to figure out why my car just shut off, get a bunch of codes and runs horrible. Doesn't make sense to me. Plz help me out

y car was driving fine the whole way to school, all untill i got to a decent slopped hill my car just shut off, i tried cranking the motor over and all it would do is knock pretty hard, engine would shake like crazy and couldnt hold a steady RPM, the oil light was also one the whole time, and the MIL was on also. i got 2 codes from it which where TPS and EGR P1406. i cant get the motor to stay running steady all it wants to do is make loud internal noises and shake around everywhere.
