So the problem is a bit strange to me. Left turn signal flashes really fast. No burnt out bulbs. Right turn signal is fine. Turn on the hazard flashers and everything flashes normal, no problems. The left signal has done this since i bought the car. I have read many posts about a recall on pontiac grandams but all the problems seem to be with it flashing at weird times and sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesnt. Where would be a good place to start? Also i am pretty far from a parts house so anything I can check without having to get parts is better and if something is faulty, I shall repalce it.

The link below has a discussion which covers all the usual suspects, bad bulb socket, bad multi-function switch, and bad hazard switch. You can start by checking the sockets and disassembly of the multi-function switch. You didnt post the year of your car so hopefully this is the correct information.
