What are the steps taken to install the new ecm I have for my 99 pontiac Grand Am.?

disconnect battery, remove and replace ecm. Reattach battery. it's gonna run rough for a bit till it relearns its settings.

OK you will need a 1/4 in and a 7mm and remove the the 7mm bolt the hold the plug in the ECM, then push the lever on the side to let the ecu drop out. then reverse the steps.. make sure to remove the positive post..
