I've tried to find what these wires went to. Did they run to trunk light or cruise control module? My cruise does not work, so I assumed this was why.

Does your pop button work for your deck lid? Im pretty sure thats what im looking at.

Nope, It doesn't. I'm trying to track down any other cut ends these wires went to. So far no luck.

I believe that is the connection for the remote trunk release. The other end should have been in the weatherpak by the right deck lid hinge. Mine was missing, so I have the button on the dash, the wiring, and the solenoid, but no way of connecting them.

I looked in the same area and still have not found the ends where these go. I also have all the parts you mentioned. Some repair shop probably cut them to get stuff out of thier way. I noticed my deck lid has 3 of 4 bolts holing it to the frame under the rear window and its crooked. This is why I do my own work on cars when I can. Shops don't care anymore.

Actually, One wire is ground, one is the trunk solenoid to open it and the other is for the "AJAR" light and trunk light.
If you cannot see the wires/connector against the firewall then possible the engine compartment harness was changed, the vehicle did not have the option and someone was going to add it but did not get the harness, or someone cut the harness out of the car for use in another.

If you download the factory service manual you can see where the wires go into the C500 connector and run your own wires.

Probably the last possibility for mine, Oreif. The RPO list on my car lists A90 (deck lid release, remote control, electric) as an original factory option. But, as usual, thanks for the info. I think I can wire it myself now.
