We purchased a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE. The body is in Mint condition inside and out, but engine is shot! Are there other options of engines to put into our car? If so what are our other engine possibilities?

right the vin number down, google reading the vin.alotta the numbers represent the car model,specifically your looking for the letter or number for the transmission. as long as that letter or number is the same as the donor vin, itll go. then youll also prolly need exhaust, computer etc, and there is a problem with taking those computers and using them(computer and wiring harness)ive read they still need reflashed(im kinda puzzled on that).anyway best is a direct swap, unless youve got a 2.3 or 2.4 inline 4 cyl with overhead cam/s
