I don't have a tape player, so I can't use that device. I don't have an audio jack either.

I already tried the Belkin TuneBase FM with Clearscan (product page here: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.pro390447) cess?Product_Id=
and there was too much static. It was irritating. Can anyone help me find a product with little to no static or another way to plug my iPod directly into my car?
I meant cassette player where I said "tape player".

iPods are able to play through your radio when you purchase the Griffen iTrip (usually $20-$40 extra). This produced pretty clear music through fm stations. Also, you can buy fm transmitters for almost any mp3 player- but these are usually not as clear as the Griffen iTrip. I would suggest the iPod with the iTrip (I have personally tried four or five different transmitters and the iTrip is the best).

tape adapter or radio adapter...
the best ones are the ones that connect to the headphone jack.
Ive seen others fry the iPod.
