What is this plug?

1998 Sunfire with a 2.2 litre engine. There is a plug on top of the engine that is just hanging there. No idea where it goes. Two wires, red and dark green/white stripe.



Any idea what this plug is for?

Where is the intake duct work, did you check if it plugs into something?

I can't see anyplace that it can plug into at all.

No check engine light. No modifications. Yes, I just purchased the car.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 98 Sunfire?

I already did , the dark green and white wire goes to about 4 different things off the ecm.

My guess by the location in the pic, it goes to the a/c compressor high pressure switch.
