What it the easiest way to get to the headgaskets on a 2001 Pontiac Montana?

My husband plans to replace the headgaskets on my Pontiac Montana. Is he going to have to jack the frame up off of it, or is there an easier way?

They can be done from above but it is a good reach to get to the back head, I have seen guys take the wheels off and set the car on blocks to lower it down to make it easier to access the engine ...
