What should be the normal water temp for a 2000 sunfire 2.4?

Just rebuilt the engine and want to make sure things are within specs, Thanks.

It would vary between 195 and maybe 220 when the fans kick in.

Okay, well that seems to be whats happening. Just found out I have a warped Engine Coolant Water Outlet, I purchased another but it didnt come with a gasket just an o-ring. It seems like there should be. Should I use some hi-temp gasket seal on it or what? I cant find a view of this.

You can use a little sealant on it but the O ring should do the job
