What transmission can I use?

I am restoring a 67 Firebird. I am removing the 2 speed auto, and was wondering if there are any other transmissions that will bolt up that would be a 4 speed, or maybe have OD. Otherwise I will have to use the Turbo 350. I want to know what my options are. I have a 68 Pontiac 350 engine in it. Thanks, Mark
 
A 200r4 or a 700r4 would be options with overdrive. The 460le would work also but would need a computer to run it.
 
What vendors would handle these transmissions? What about linkage kits to hook up to the standard Pontiac shifter? Mark
 
Are you looking for a recommendation? Because a simple Google search will provide quite a few options. Summit Racing is one which is not bad.

I'm asking about the linkage. I see the 200 R4 is available. I want to know if anyone makes a shift plate for the console that would replace the one from the 2 speed. Also are linkage kits available for these like the 350's. I have not found any. Has anyone out there put a 200 in a 67 Firebird? Mark

B& M should make the shifter you are looking for.
