Whats the difference between a Pontiac Trans am Firebird, & a Firehawk?

I just really want to know. I'm not really a car person. but i love trans ams. :] please help me out here.

A Firehawk appears to be an option involving an outside company called SLP that does additional modifcation to a Firebird Transam or Formula, There are a number of websites dedicated to this vehicle.

A Trans Am is an appearance and V8 engine package (and probably other things, like brakes, suspension, etc). "Firebirds" are frequently V6's, and can be had with a V8 (part of a Forumula package).
