The tire is extremely hot. Like he spit on the tire and it sizzaled. He thinks the brake maybe stuck. Is this a common problem with the Fieros? How would he fix this problem?

You need to rotate the tires, change the brake fluid, grease the brake bearings, and change the mice under the hood. That should fix it.

the brakes are probally stuck really bad and are scrubbing too hard and fast and is getting hot..... has he been going fast at one point and the car went up a bit and came down hard? t may hve been jammed

I had the same problem. My brake cable was the problem. They tend to collape inside. From the short outside the cable looked fine. When I replaced it the problem went away.
