Wheel hub assembly

Can I replace non abs rear wheel hub assembly with ones that are abs? I hear a bad grinding sound from rear. Brakes on both sides are new and up to par. Sound is definitely in the rear. Also, is it best to replace both of them?

Why wouldn't you use the correct bearing assembly?
Unless there is a problem there is no reason to replace both.
