Im looking for a good quality turbo kit for my pontiac g8 v6. Anyone know where i can get a good one, or if i should even get one at all?
I have been around alot and have never heard of anyone putting a turbo in the G8 V6.... but If I were you I would ask INTENSE (do a search on the internet).... but they have done plenty of turbos on the V8's and would know who to contact if it is available.... I know even the turbos for the V8's are harder to come by now due to cutbacks from the developers on the G8.... but many people can do customs....

I can tell you that the V6 G8's will have some minor issues with forced induction. The original engine had high Natural Asperation in mind when they started designing it. So the lubrication systems are better suited for that. I'd tell you that if you are looking to just build up power to instead, get a Cold Air intake, a full exhaust including downpipes, bigger radiator, a programer, and if you are daring do the cams and lifters, also use AC Delco Rapid fire plugs and some better plug wires, if you really have time and money for this project you could even rip into the block and do the bearings rods shaft and heads. those engines are suited for up to around 580hp natural asperation.
