The other day I discovered that I've been driving around with the parking brake ON for several miles. I said to myself: "Wouldn't it be nice if these cars had a parking brake warning light? If there's none, I would install one, even if it isn't standard on the car!"
In doing my research, it appears these cars DO have a parking brake light switch and mine did not come with it. So the parking brake light switch can be purchased from OPGI for under $20
For the owners of a '66 Lemans, where does the parking brake indicator show up on the dashboard?
I've attached a PDF which contains pics of the old dashboard and wiring diagrams. I've since upgraded with a brand new dashboard but I don't see where the parking brake light indicator lives on the dash. Would it be the red light on the speedometer? That's the only logical place for it
Thanks
