Where is the trunk light switch on a 97 Pontiac Sunfire?

I opened my trunk up tonight to notice that my light didn't come on, so I wiggled the bulb a little bit until it lit up. Then I shut my trunk, but was curious to see whether it would go out or not, so I folded my back seat down and I found that it didn't shut off. I left my seat down and I closed/locked the doors and waited until the interior lights went off. Of course the dome light went off, but the trunk light was still on.

Is there a switch for the trunk light, or does that light just stay on the whole time? (I don't think it does.)

NO it doesn't! lol The switch should be on the side of the light Assembly itself. When you wiggled the bulb you might have switched it on by accident. If that doesn't help, take the bulb out and wait till daylight so you can see what your doing..lol Good Luck!

there is no switch. ur latch switch is probly bad. trust me
