Several forums say use AC Delco plugs to prevent misfiring etc. 2 AC Delco plugs listed. AC 14 regular Rapidfire plug and the AC 41-940 Professional Platinium. The AC 14 plugs are heat range 3 and the AC 41-940 plugs are heat range 4. I guess the 41-940 are hotter.
Engine not burning oil (leaking some). Which ones should I get? Car has 90 K miles and is 12 years old.

What does the manual say ? On a 2003 it says use a ac delco 41-101 which is a iridium . Hope this helps .
A quick look up a rock auto does list 2 plugs ??????

The original plug is an AC 41-940. The Rapid Fire plug is an AC attempt at a plug with multiple points for the spark to jump. Stick with the original.

Hank let us know how hard it is to change plugs and are you changing the wires ? How are you changing the back 3 plugs , just ratcheting forward the motor ?

OEM plugs are 41-940 Platinium new plugs not gapped correctly

See new post about 41-940 plugs. Gapped at .50 not .60

Still need to get rear plugs changed

Ratcheted the engine forward and still couldn't get to the rear plugs or even remove the coils. I did find out one plug wire was very corroded going into the coil. Used emery cloth to clean up both ends on wire and the coil then use dialectric grease on all 6 plug wires at the coil. Tried to get to the rear plugs from underneath but my hands are too big. Any DWARFS near Silver Spring, MD?
How the hell do you get the rear plugs out and back in without consulting Houdini?
