chanegd the oil already? i changed the oil light is still on how do i reset it?

turn the key to the on position but dont start it. and pump the gas to the floor 3-4 times to the floor. it should work

grand ams also have the tricky in the fuse panel by the door red reset button turn the key to the on pos. then hold that button in for approx 10 sec. then push it in and out until the chime dings
