• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I'm a big fan of GM and i love my pontiacs but why is it that Chevy can come out with the cobalt ss and the saturn and it's ion redline for this sport compact market but pontiac has not come out with anything yet why is that ? don't you think they should come out with somthing along the lines of a cobalt ss ? just thought i'd see what you guys/girls think

Politics.

Just corporate politics, is my answer. If I didn't know better I'd swear GM is trying to send Pontiac the way of Oldsmobile, but I really don't have any hard facts to back it up. If GM really wants to get sales going again they'd do well to give Buick, Saturn, Pontiac, Hummer and Cadillac more autonomy and let them sink or swim as their 'own' companies. I bet Pontiac would really wake up their product line instead of it being controlled by the talking heads at GM management as it is now.
