Will GM ever make anything like Pontiac Fierro, Saturn Sky, or Pontiac Solstice...

...ever again? I want something good on Gas but yet a 2 setter and not a pickup. I would love to have an XLR or a Corvette but the price of insurance and gas there is no way I could afford it.

Will GM ever make a 2 seater 4 cylinder car again
 
GM is weird about stuff like that.

They fixed all the little problems that plagued the Fiero and then promptly killed it.

Killed it right before Mazda started making money hand over fist with the MX-5. So the buyers were out there.

And to further prove my statement, Ford (Mercury) sold a bunch of crappy Australian Capri XR3s after the Fiero got the axe.

I didn't think I would see another Pontiac two seater again after that debacle. But they did. The Solstice.

So it's possible. Unlikely, but possible.

Maybe Buick dealers will want to take another try at selling Opels.

But I wouldn't wait. Just go buy the Mazda MX-5
 
They historically, have never been good sellers.

Especially when they arent a shared platform, the cost goes up.

I dont see how GM could justify making a car like that for a while.
