i bought a 11.75 inch dynalite kit from wilwood to convert from drum to disc brakes. i've been having some trouble with the caliper bracket, for some reason i don't have enough clearance between it and the rotor for the caliper, or rather i can't mount the caliper because its bracket where the caliper would be if mounted properly. i know that the rotor is assembled properly and the bracket can't go on another way, and i've tapped the spindle correctly. i could reverse the mounting as well, but i would need to use many shims and modify the bracket. basically what i'm asking is if there is any kind of trick, or did i possibly get the wrong bracket somehow. this part of the job should be the easiest and take the shortest amount of time. i'd rather go through the possibilities before i start grinding the spindle to make more clearance and risk uneven/faster pad wear. any advice or possibly a link with pictures of the bracket installed would be helpful. thank you.
