Since getting my 2008 Montana I have had problems with the wipers not clearing rain and snow properly. I have replaced the wiper blades a number of times but I still have streaks, and a large area in my line of site that the wiper just does not seem to even touch the windshield. In snow the wiper rides up on the snow and it collects under the wiper making it worthless.

Is anyone having the same problem? It seems like a design flaw. Does anyone have a wiper blade that works well on a Montana?

Thanks
Donna

Not all wiper blades are the same. Have you tried a higher end blade? I couldn`t give you a brand, but I know sometimes you have to spend more to get more. You could always try 1 new blade at a time.
Secondly, do the arms themselves bend properly when you lift up the blade? They should bend at the elbow with ease, no binding. Check for corrosion.
Lastly, they sell aftermarket tensioners for wiper arms. Try this link:

If the link doesnt work, do a search for 'Wiper arm Tensioners'.

Let me know what you find!

another blade you can try is called a winter blade it is a wiper blade with a rubber boot over it to help stop snow from collecting on it ,from what I remember it really works good luck

You`re right! I just bought a set of cheap winter blades....they work much better than the more expensive blades!

Imagine that.....:o
