Yearone 17x9" and 19x9.5" Snowflake wheels

Anyone have these on a lowered Gen II car?
What size tires?
Any thoughts on the 17s Vs the 19s?

1978 Fire Am build on a 1973 chassis and 1971 455 HO engine
 
Personally on a vehicle that the largest wheel was 15", I wouldn't go larger than 17" due to the much lower profile required going to 19".
What size tire do you currently have and is there room for more width in front or rear?
 
Currently running 245-60-15 in front and 255-60-15 in rear, Cooper Cobras. I am thing the 17s as well. The 19s look quite a bit different, not sure I really like them. The 17s look much more like the OEM 15s.
 
Then 245/50x17 and 255/50x17 should fit

Well... UPS lost two of the wheels but found and delivered them the next day. Got them installed with BF Goodrich Comp-2s in 275-40-17 wrapped around them. Plenty of clearance in back but less than two fingers between the top outer edge of the tires and the top outer edge of the wheel well. The Fire Am is lowered in front with both the Herb Adams Fire Am structure kit as well as Viking Performance dual adjustable coil-overs. The previous wheels were WS6 15x8 Snowflakes with Cooper Cobra GTs in 245-60-15s in front and 255-60-15s in the rear. We may have to raise the front up just a tad bit as many of our local roads up here in the NH Lakes Region are pretty bad.
Here are some weight specs:
WS6 15x8 Snowflakes with Cooper Cobra GT 245-60-15: 47 Lbs
Yearone 17x9 Snowflakes with BF Goodrich Comp-2 275-40-17: 55 Lbs
So only an 8 Lb increase in un-sprung weight, really not too bad

Very nice. At least they only got lost for a day. I ordered headers from Jegs and it was taking a really long time, week plus for FedEx to deliver them even though they were at the local distribution center. In the end discovered the original factory box was destroyed intransit and they had to fabricate a new shipping carton. Luckily nothing was damaged or missing.

Agree, I thing the 19 are too. I found for tires I have 255-60-15 and in the rear 275-60-15. You will need to bend back the inner fendor just a smidgen to insure you dont hit the tires when going over bumps. Or just install some air shock like I did.

I currently have 5th gen camaro brembos in the front and back. Wondering if then19in snowflakes clear the brakes. Anyone running these 19s?
