1987 sunbird GT non turbo, code 45. I buy a new O2 sensor, install it, and car runs rough again just driving it only out of the driveway. Again, car shows code 45. This is a "running rich" O2 sensor high voltage indication according to the GM code manual. . Not sure if it necessarily means the sensor is bad, but how does one try to remedy this? What should I do with code 45?
Note- my car does burn oil a bit. It has 233,000 miles.
