I have a 2001 Pontiac Aztek. When I went to start the car yesterday the battery was dead and needed a jump to start it. When the car was running we noticed that the ac/heater blowing fan was running even though the knob was in the off position. When we turned the car off and the key was removed from the ignition, the blower fan stayed on and continues to blow until the battery is disconnected or Fuse #47 under the hood labeled "main battery fuse for HVAC and ignition 3 relay" is pulled. I replaced the fuse but the issue remains. I assume there is a short somewhere or something else needs to be replaced. If its something somewhat accessible I can handle it myself. Is it possible it's the blower fan motor, blower fan resistor, ac contol unit in car? Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks
