I have a 2003 Sunfire SE that I don't drive very often. After about a week or so of not driving it, I find the battery is dead and the car will not start.

To try and figure out what is draining the battery, I connected a multimeter in series with the battery. With the car off and all doors closed, I get a 0.16A draw on the battery.

To see where the draw is coming from, I pulled out each fuse and checked the meter. I found that there is a 0.08A drain on the CLSTR fuse and a 0.08A drain on the STOP/HZD fuse.

Does anyone have any ideas why these two circuits would be drawing on the battery when the car is off?

I'm not sure what to do next.

Thanks!

About 4 months ago I got a new battery, and when I don't drive for more than a couple days I put a trickle charger on it.

The previous battery was only 2 years old, but it would still die if I didn't drive the car for more than a week or so.
