I just recently put a new output shaft seal on the left rear of my indy fiero. It had a very small leak. It seemed to go together as it should. I put three quarts of 5 W 30 in it and it still leaks from the same seal. Mind you, I've had this car for three years and haven't driven it yet. It didn't start leaking until recently. I'm gonna start driving it next year. It only has 62,335 original miles. It is # 374. Ok, the tranny case looked fine where the seal goes in. Is there a trick to these seals. I've never had this happen to any other vehicle I put a new seal in. This is my first fiero. Thanks for any help.
