I am not a mechanic however I have been working on my own cars for many years. I hate paying the repair costs buts if I can help it. But it's starting to get so complicated I'm not sure I will have much choose. Plus it's getting harder to find a mechanic that just does want to continually charge you for repairs. I think they can always find something?
My daughter just bough her first car. A Pontiac 2008 G5 Base , 2 door coupe with 195,966 mile. She paid $1100 for it but we had to put a lot of money into it to get it one the road. Something I won't do again. Cheap cars are just money pits!
