Key question

I have purchased a 68 lemans with no keys. Does the key switch just operate the ignition switch or does it operate doors also. On my 69 lemans the ignition switch has one key and the doors and trunk is another key? I was going to remove the ignition switch and take it to a lock smith but looks like i need a key to remove it.

Any ideas on how to get the ignition switch out with out a key?

From my recall that unit is part of the dash board. I would remove the whole assembly and take it to an automotive locksmith.

Lock smith made me a key by using a door lock. Works great.
