terrehautian: The ice display should only be displayed I believe if the outside temp is below 38 degrees but should toggle between ice and the temperature for the first maybe 10 minutes ,check the manual it talks about it in there ,also the old gm blower motor resistor defect ,well at least its easy to get to on these vans ,not sure what to tell you about obd 2 port looks as if your going in the right direction somewhere I saw a pin out of the port as of what pins have what voltage and which one is ground try doing a search for it for this site if I find I will post , Good luck keep us posted.
Okay, didn't know about the ICE message. As for the blower motor resister, same thing happened in my Malibu (so I knew that was the problem), so how do I replace it if it is easy?
EDIT: Found this, a lot easier then my Malibu.

EDIT 2: Fuse for cigerrette plug (which isn't in right now anyway) was blown so I replaced it. I ended up having to run to Autozone to get some 15amp fuses since all I had was 10,20and 30's. Fuse replaced and the
scanner came up with an o2 sensor. Get all these nickel and dime things out of the way and the van will be good.
So far what needs done.
*power steering hose (30 dollars will fix this supposedly)
*oxygen sensor (60 for sensor and I might be able to put it in)
*blower motor resister (I should be able to do this one)
*have a third mechanic look at intake manifold gasket and water pump (one person said it is bad, one said it isn't. I believe the one who said it isn't since it stayed at his house for over a year).
*fix headlight housing due to moisture (or replace) and put in silver star bulbs.
*buy two new cabin air filters
Things I want to find
*air hose kit that came with it originally
* cigarette tray since mine was broken and didn't' stay in.
