Hello i just wanted to drop in and see if anybody was interested, but i want to recreate the 1994 pontiac sunfire roadster from a stock oem 1995-99 Pontiac Sunfire SE convertible. now it looks like the interior parts carried on from the concept car onto the actual production model minus the rear tonnea cover and the seat belts being attached next to the sides of the left and right sides of the drivers and passengers seats headrests. now heres the tricky parts is recreating the pontiac sunfires roadsters carbon fiber body parts from scratch. the concept also is supercharged with the 2400 twin cam L4 engine, which if i remember had 241hp. it also boasts in some kind of ad a tubular rear axle with spring over shocks, and front and rear dic brakes. now the production sunfire has rear drum brakes that will require conversion to discs. the ad also talked about variable power assist power steering, which i believe the grand ams or grand prix had. now if i can make na special windshield support i can also incorporate the integrated rear mirrors with front turn signals. i believe this project will be well worth it/ hell maybey even rebuild and bore out the 2.4l engine to give it alot more horsepower to match the look.
