I'm eyeballing Variable Rate rear coil springs for my '92 convertible.
I've already got the front ones. Haven't done the upgrades yet. Need a few more parts and I'll have an all new/rebuilt suspension.
There are two sets of rear springs available and one is for the coupe/sedan and the other is for the convertible. Convertible springs are more money.
My thinking is that the set for the coupe/sedan is a little taller to handle a little more weight. They're both 0.59 Inch and 203 lbs/in. But, maybe the convertible is a little heavier with the pump and cylinders.
A little taller is desirable so I don't have to pump up the air shocks unless I'm dragging dirt bikes or haulin' hotties in a parade!
Any thoughts guys???
