how do you know the whole engine is from a 73 versus just the engine block? A 69 would have higher compression with it's original heads, which heads are on yours? You dont have a stock carburetor or intake. A dead stock 69 versus a dead stock 73 the 73 might get a hair more mileage but would be down on power.
did the previous owner give you any more information as to what has been done to this engine. The Performer RPM is a pretty aggressive intake for a stock 400
no he didnt. i know the car has great oil pressure, starts right up even in below frezzing weather. also has 3 in dual exhaust with flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow mufflers
