Parts dilemma , "discontinued"

In search for a very specific and essential part for my 2004 pontiac grand prix must have visited over 100 auto parts sites and
get the same finding the part has been discontinued. yes, also checked ebay.
FYI The correct part number is GM 10354108 (related to dash "upper trim") . Yes, would love to hear back if anyone has a lead on that
part that does lead to site where part is available.

Main question does any one know a site where one can put in a GM part number and see a list of possible
other interchangeable parts *GM or otherwise"? just a shot in the dark

GM typically does not use different part numbers for an interchangeable part.
You need to contact salvage yards.

Thanks for feeedback. I will admit to limitted experience on the topic but believe loaction of part makes it difficult to exract from car without removing the wind shield and if brittle ( which likely to be if not been protected from sun damage as mine has) the desired part can end up in broken pieces in process. Thanks
