Hopeing i can get some helpful advice real soon, every bit will be much appreciated. I bought this 2004 Pontiac sunfire just a week ago, its a 5 speed and nothing seemed to be a miss when i was driving it. When i went to go drive it one night the clutch pedal just stuck right to the floor when i stepped on it, but would not return... I can cycle through gears when its off just fine but turned on it wont shift, even tho the pedal is already down. It gave no indication that anything was wrong with it until i went to drive it that last time. Ive looked into my situation and im hearing a lot about it being the slave/master cylinder but i want to be absolutely sure before i just start tearing it apart for nothing. Any helpful tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated as i am pretty pinched for time to fix this, thank you!

you have the correct solution to your problem either a bad slave or master or a leak. Start by looking for a leak.
