0118 code seems like a wiring issue. All the videos I saw said the open circuit should result in a -40f sensor reading. And I was getting a 140f reading. So the sensor was reading the low coolant temp properly. It was working as intended. Yes I am happy ac works and temp gauge works. But I think it is not fixed.
Drove about 1 hr yesterday. Went to a few stores. Used ac a bit. Turned ac off. Temp gauge still works. Speedo seems correct. Might change wheel bearing as constant stabilitrak warning is annoying.
Picked up a used gauge cluster. Tach works now. And both speedo/tach do full gauge sweep on start. My old cluster never did that. Even the temp/gas needles do a little sweep.
